Privacy Policy
Mintzer Technologies Private Limited · Effective / last updated: 22 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mintzer Technologies Private Limited (“Mintzer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use:
- the Mintzer mobile applications on Google Play (com.mintzer) and the Apple App Store;
- our website at mintzer.in and related pages; and
- any support channels we operate (email, WhatsApp, in-app help).
By creating an account, using the apps, or continuing to use the website, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Mintzer is a deals platform. We are not a bank, NBFC, payment wallet issuer, or card network. We do not hold a spendable balance that you can withdraw inside the app. Earn is paid to your bank account after verification.
1. Who we are
Mintzer Technologies Private Limited is a company incorporated in India.
Registered office: 14, First Floor, Cross Garden, Moopa Kovil, Melakaveri, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu 612002, India.
For privacy questions: Contact@mintzer.in · +91 82486 26422
2. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information we process about users of Mintzer in India and elsewhere, to the extent our services are offered to them. It does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, or e-commerce stores (for example Flipkart or Amazon) that you visit when placing an order — those have their own privacy policies.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account and identity
- Mobile phone number and OTP-based login data.
- PAN (Permanent Account Number), collected when you accept your first deal (not at login).
- Name associated with your PAN, obtained through our verification process.
- Optional profile details you choose to add (for example display name or photo, if offered in the app).
3.2 Payout details
- Bank account number, IFSC, account holder name.
- Optional UPI ID, if you provide one.
3.3 Deal and order information
- Deals you view, accept, cancel, or complete.
- Store Order ID, tracking details, invoice images or files, and other proof you upload.
- Delivery address shown on the deal (used so you can place the store order correctly).
- Timers, status history, support tickets, and messages related to an order.
3.4 Device, app, and usage data
- Device type, OS version, app version, language, and time zone.
- IP address, approximate location derived from network (not precise GPS unless you grant it for a specific feature).
- Crash logs, performance diagnostics, and security signals (for example to detect abuse).
- In-app interactions needed to operate features (screens opened, button actions tied to deals).
3.5 Website data
- Standard server logs when you visit mintzer.in (IP, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps).
- Any information you send us via contact forms, email, or WhatsApp.
3.6 What we do not collect by design
- Your store account passwords.
- Card PIN, CVV, or full card number entered on Flipkart/Amazon checkout (that happens on the store’s site/app, not inside Mintzer’s payment form).
- OTPs sent by banks or stores — and you must never share those with anyone, including Mintzer support.
4. How we collect information
- Directly from you — registration, KYC/payout forms, uploads, support chats.
- Automatically — when you use the apps or website (logs, diagnostics).
- From service providers — for example OTP delivery, PAN name verification, and payout processing partners, only as needed to run Mintzer.
- From app stores — limited technical or account signals required for install, updates, and fraud prevention, subject to Apple / Google rules.
5. Why we use information (purposes)
We process personal information to:
- create and secure your account (phone + OTP);
- show deals and operate accept / place-order / proof flows;
- verify that an order matches the deal terms and the listed delivery address;
- calculate and pay earn to your bank within our stated timelines (generally 48 working hours after successful verification, excluding bank holidays);
- show Wallet as earn history (amounts paid and pending);
- prevent fraud, duplicate claims, misuse, and security incidents;
- provide customer support and resolve disputes;
- send service messages (order status, payout updates, security alerts);
- improve product performance, reliability, and user experience;
- comply with law, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
- enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights and users.
Where Indian law requires consent for a specific processing activity, we will ask for it. Where processing is needed to perform our contract with you (for example paying earn), we rely on that necessity. We may also process information for legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, balanced against your rights.
6. Legal bases (India)
We process personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (and rules as notified), and other laws that apply to our business. Depending on the activity, processing may be based on consent, employment/contract necessity for providing the service you requested, or other lawful grounds recognised under applicable law (including compliance with legal obligations).
7. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Verification and KYC partners — to confirm PAN-related name details.
- Payout / banking partners — to transfer earn to your bank account or UPI.
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, SMS/OTP, analytics, crash reporting, email/WhatsApp tooling, under contracts that limit use to providing services to us.
- Professional advisers — auditors, lawyers, accountants, where required.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — if we merge, reorganise, or transfer assets, information may move as part of that transaction under appropriate safeguards.
Third-party stores (Flipkart, Amazon, and others) are independent controllers of data you give them at checkout. Mintzer does not operate those checkouts.
8. International transfers
Our primary operations and intended users are in India. Some service providers may process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we take steps reasonably available to us so that personal information continues to be protected in line with this Policy and applicable law.
9. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
- active account and order records while you use Mintzer;
- completed order and payout records for accounting, dispute, tax, and legal retention periods;
- security and fraud logs for a limited period;
- support correspondence as needed to resolve issues and improve service.
When retention is no longer required, we delete or anonymise information, except where law requires longer retention.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information (access controls, encrypted transport where appropriate, monitoring, and vendor due diligence). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You can help by keeping your phone secure, not sharing OTPs, and contacting us if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may be able to:
- access or correct certain account information in the app (Profile);
- update bank / payout details where the product allows;
- request a copy of personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (this may limit features);
- request deletion of your account from Profile, except while an order is still in progress (including payout wait);
- raise a grievance with us using the contact details below.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some data must be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons even after account closure.
12. Children
Mintzer is intended for adults who can lawfully enter contracts and use credit/debit cards under applicable rules. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing website may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for security and basic functionality. We do not use the website to run invasive cross-site advertising profiles. Browser settings may allow you to block cookies; some site features may not work if you do.
14. Communications
We may send transactional messages (OTP, order status, payout notices). Marketing messages, if any, will follow applicable consent and opt-out rules. You can ask us to stop non-essential marketing by contacting Contact@mintzer.in.
15. Third-party links and SDKs
The apps or website may link to third parties or include SDKs (maps, crash tools, store SDKs). Their practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before use.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted in the app or on the website. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
